Leighton - Web Developer - North East

Due to the growth of an existing contract, we are seeking to recruit a Web Developer to make a significant contribution to the continued success of the business. You will take responsibility for the timely delivery of development projects for BA and will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to development, testing, implementation and documentation. A key member of the development team, you will work closely with our prestigious clients to meet their requirements, and therefore your ability to communicate effectively is as important as your technical excellence.

You will be motivated, proactive and confident with a strong professional image, excellent commercial awareness and proven track record within a similar role. You will play an active role in the continued development and growth of our business through your skills and experience. You will have:

• A degree in a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 2 years commercial web development experience
• A thorough working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential
• Knowledge of FLASH, JSP, XML, XSLT, C#.NET, ASP.NET, ASP, Java and Object Oriented design is
  desirable
• Experience of Interwoven’s TeamSite is advantageous
• Exceptional technical skills
• A good understanding of programming methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills
