Leighton - Web Designer - North East

Due to the growth of an existing contract, we are seeking to recruit a talented Web Designer to make a significant contribution to the continued success of the business. You will take responsibility for the effective design and delivery of outstanding web sites, web collateral, visuals, documentation and consultancy on behalf of British Airways. A key member of the design team, you will work closely with our prestigious client to meet their requirements, and therefore your ability to communicate effectively is as important as your technical excellence.

You will be motivated, proactive and confident with a strong professional image, excellent commercial awareness and proven track record within a similar role. You will play an active role in the continued development and growth of our business through your skills and experience. You will have:

• A degree in a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 5 years commercial web design experience
• Expert working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Flash
• A thorough working knowledge of Dreamweaver and Photoshop
• A demonstrable knowledge of website design best practices
• Experience of design for digital marketing as an advantage
