Communicator - Internal Sales Manager - North East


The role

You will be responsible for managing and developing the internal graduate sales team, supporting them to fulfil their potential and achieve business objectives and sales targets. You will be responsible for the generation of leads and quality appointments for the Business Development Executives and achieving Direct Sales revenue targets. Working with the Head of Business Development and Marketing Departments you will identify lucrative markets and companies to prospect. Managing monthly team meetings, you will review activity, develop strategy and contribute to the development of the corporate sales plan and success of The Communicator Corporation.


What we're looking for

For this role, you must be enthusiastic, structured and process driven, motivational and a great communicator. A key aspect of the role is to provide leadership for our talented Graduate Business Development Executives and developing the ‘Team Leaders’ management and motivational skills, within an innovative and fast paced environment. You will be a senior member of the business and should lead your team by example making your own decisions and displaying a proactive can do attitude in everything you do. You will have:

  • A proven and demonstrable track record of individual and team accomplishments in the delivery of financial goals and objectives
  • Ideally experience within the technology for marketing or digital industry, particularly email and mobile would be an advantage
  • Exposure to appointment making with blue-chip organisations and direct selling over the phone
  • 3+ years relevant experience developing and managing teams, within a fast growing and scaleable environment
  • Strong process management and communication skills
  • Ability to fit in well within an informal environment, provide hands-on management and provide senior role in winning blue chip clients and increasing revenues
  • Ability to establish credibility within existing teams quickly, and provide longer term vision and motivation
