Leighton - Junior Developer - Gradute 2008 - North East

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional technical graduate to make a significant contribution to the continued success of the business through the effective development of prospective web pages and applications. You will be responsible for identifying and delivering high standard technical solutions within firm deadlines in accordance with Company and Client requirements. Working with management, you will contribute to the identification, research and implementation of new services, products, processes and systems to optimise performance and create value. Commencing for an initial placement period of 12 weeks, your role with us will be challenging and rewarding and will quickly have the potential to develop into an exciting longer-term career.

You will be motivated, proactive and confident with a strong professional image, excellent commercial awareness
and proven track record. You will play an active role in the continued development and growth of our business
through your skills and experience. You will:

• Expect to graduate this summer with a 2.1 or higher in a relevant discipline
• Have a thorough working knowledge of HTML & JavaScript
• Have knowledge JSP, XML, XLST, CSS & Java
• Possess exceptional technical skills
• Have a good understanding of programming methodologies
• Have excellent problem-solving skills
• Have exceptional presentation skills
