Leighton - Junior Designer - Graduate 2008 - North East

We are looking for a talented design graduate to join our existing team and contribute to design projects in various areas of the business. Some projects will require you to work closely with key clients, for others you will be involved in the design of new products for the group. Commencing in July for an initial placement period of 12 weeks, your role will be challenging and rewarding and will quickly have the potential to develop into an exciting longer-term career.

You will be motivated, proactive, and confident with a strong professional image and excellent commercial awareness. You will play an active role in the continued development and growth of our business through your skills and experience. You will:

• Expect to graduate this summer with a 2.1 or higher in a relevant discipline
• Possess exceptional Design, HTML, CSS and Flash skills
• Have a thorough working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, current design trends, web standards and accessibility.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Illustrator, ActionScript is an advantage
• Be an excellent team player but equally capable of working on your own initiative
• Have exceptional presentation skills
