Communicator - Junior Developer - 2008 - North East

We are looking for an exceptional technical graduate to contribute to the company’s continued success. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of development projects and will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through to development, testing, implementation and documentation. Commencing in July for an initial placement period of 12 weeks, your role will be challenging and rewarding and will quickly have the potential to develop into an exciting longer-term career.

You will be proactive and confident with a strong professional image and a sound understanding of technology. You will:

• Expect to graduate this summer with a 2.1 or higher in a relevant discipline
• Have a thorough working knowledge of C# (but if not C++ and/or Java), ASP.NET, XML & SQL Server (or relational databases in general)
• Exposure to .NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 an advantage
• A thorough knowledge of UML modelling techniques
• Exceptional technical skills
• A good understanding of Object Oriented programming methodologies.
